Rushed this one a bit. I am very tired. Blame it on Monday. And on the three meetings I had to attend today. Only one meeting tomorrow. One really really long meeting. A few more on Wednesday. Maybe I'll sleep through Thursday. At my desk, so I look like I'm working.

In fact, in the Lewis and Short lexicon under "awkward," the Latin translation is, roughly, "handing your cousin Mus over to drunken debauchery with a female prostitute for his stag party." But the Latin says that in one word.

ah, Latin really is such a concise language. Granted though, in my four years of high school Latin I learned about 3 or 4 different ways to say kill (one was on our first vocab list) and various weapons and different ways to say those as well...
