I love that Justa likes the crocodiles. Her father's wife thinks that girls just like pretty flowers, IIRC.

I believe it was actually Vitalis who assumed "girls like flowers." But Justa can go see flowers in the garden any time. How often do you get crocodiles in the parlour?
