Somebody else's comic. And, hurrah, they give permission to post elsewhere, so:
Somebody else's live nude bear!

And my first thought is, "What font is that?"

(It looks like Poor Richard, but I'm not sure it actually is.)

Ummm, I know I said I wanted a live nude bear, but now that there's one before me . . . I'm just scared! Too funny!

Thank you, thank you. I just enjoyed a vegilicious hour over at marriedbythesea.com, toothpastefordinner.com, and nataliedee.com. Do you suppose these people actually craft totally cool, self-confident and clever, unapologetically shallow, utterly fictitious personas, or are they really like they write and draw? I am fascinated. Still prefer SPQR and Daily Angst, though.

Lately I've been reading the original Peter Pan. We're at the part where Hook goes into a self-absorbed maelstrom over "good form" (according to British public school standards) and "bad form," realizing that it is "bad form" to be obsessed with "good form." Somehow this isn't engaging my kids. Then he has Smee tie Wendy to the mast to make her watch the Lost Boys walk the plank. I'm anxious to see "Finding Neverland."
