This "Movie meme" thing has been going around, like the flu. You take the following list of 100 rather random movies (purportedly at one point the top 100 from IMDB) and bold the ones you've seen. In the interests of full Outside Food disclosure, here are my results. I did not include the movies I've seen so much of I'd might as well consider them completely seen; only the movies I have watched, uninterrupted, from end to end. So, while I'd like to say I've seen, for instance, Twelve Angry Men and Apocalypse Now and so much of Taxi Driver there must only be a few frames left to surprise me, I feel that doesn't count as a proper experience of a film.
Now, the movies I've seen that aren't on the list? I wonder how long it would take to write them all down.... Longer than I'd want to spend on it, I'm sure. Maybe there's some clever way to use the IMDB to begin to assemble such a list.
