I'm still on the road, so only a scribble to show for the 30th (and the 29th). Maybe something more substantial for Halloween night.

With the devil in the background, and all of the smoke, I can only asume that you've been banished to the some level of heck... Are you still coming back to Austin before heading back to NY?

Be sure you click on the link to the 29th - both Pom and Dabi make an appearance, and there's even a nod to TODS' stereopticon. He was so excited to have a guest who thought it was cool instead of weird!

OMG! I can't believe how well you captured David in a few deceptively-scribbly-looking brilliant lines. ::jealousjealous::

Looking more closely -
To say nothing of Matthew, who looks quite fabulous. And eek! there's Melinda in her Mary-Kathleen-Gallagher-Catholic-Schoolgirl costume! Looking even closer - how did you DO that? That's the EXACT look she had on her face when she was in-character!!!! And that strange-but-sweet guy from Holland and his wife in the devil costume. This is, like, scary... And me and the hubby! OMG! Very flattering.

The only thing that doesn't look right is [livejournal.com profile] meritahut, who fit in *extremely* well with all the smart people, and had very smart conversations juggling levels of smartness - I'm thinking of how gently reasonable you were with Mr. Heinlein-Can-Do-No-Wrong, who was bright but naive, and how well you clicked with Ms. Heinlein-Still-Has-Issues, whom I'd never met before but who was clearly very smart, and how you negotiated a civilized conversation with both of them while I put in the occasional, "yes, I remember that bit" or "no, I haven't read that one yet." And that's just one example.

I was really proud to introduce you to people and say, "This is my friend!"

Aw, shucksies.

Oh--dagnabbit! I left out Ms. Heinlein-Still-Has-Issues! And I was looking forward to drawing her hair, too.

I'll have to do a second drawing. I'll try not to slouch as much in it if I do :-)
