Mac Guru Meets the Gamers

We, uhm, don't really drink Mountain Dew. It's not nearly high enough proof.

See, I would have run when the person with 5 inch long needles threatened me.

I was going to introduce him first to the fencing group, but their needles are even longer.

Gaming night.

Thank you, kind sir. Muchly kind.

I was kinda wingin' it in a hurry at 1 in the morning or whenever I was drawing (and couldn't even remember if Gaming Night was Tuesday or Wednesday, how sad is that?), so next time I draw Groovy Jim and the Game Night Groovettes I will try to do more accurate portaits.

I know those people...

Crapsticks, I am those people.

I like gaming references (http://www.webcomicsnation.com/ian/cosmetropolitan/series.php?view=archive&chapter=2736&name=cosmetropolitan) in my comics once in a while.

Heh. That's a great one.

It's not about gaming, but for reasons probably not safe to explore, I love the heck out of this one. (http://thegreatestguyintheworld.com/index.php?date=2005-09-28)

Hahaha

That's my friend Amity and her Husband Ken having their first dance together as a married couple.

They haven't killed me yet.

Love the overlapping dialogue balloons! It's a neat way of capturing the kind of crossways conversations you get in a group like that.

I also love the one gal just placidly knitting away through it all. Kinda like Madame Dufarge.

I just realized placid knitter is poised to defend you with a needle through his heart should he try and break yours. Which I guess he did :-(

Something about your post today made me go back and reread this story. You are even smiling in two out of three panels here! Hope to see some smiles on you again soon.

Speaking of which, I have completely dropped out of touch with Madame Dufarge--er, the placid knitter, over the past month or so. I'd better check in with those folks and make sure they're all right....
