9651: Giant squid gets photo op, 15 minutes of fame

A second drawing today (ooo!).

Over lunch yesterday, which did not consist of seafood, we made much talk about giant squids and love. Poetry was committed.

Australian scientists say, "The squid could provide giant calamari rings the size of car tyres, but they'd taste like floor cleaner."

Alas, the lunch was no doubt less interesting than what you are imagining (uhm, no offense to my luncheon companions). Just a bunch of chicks sitting in the conference room eating Chicken Tikka Masala, Vegetable Curry, and Mystery We-Didn't-Order-This Meat.

A haiku is about the limit of my poetry-writing patience these days :-)
