Needs:

inking

shading

tweaking some anatomy on the second row

. . . the usual fussing and fixing!

Once it's finished, I'll swap in the final art.

Siri? Siri?! Reception is terrible here.

I randomly run into people I know all the time in Manhattan, and I always wonder how many near misses there are.

Thanks. I get carried away in pencils then realise I have to ink the things :)

I ♥ the hover-text!!!

Aaaagh! The first panel!!! It's like that moment in "City" when Kirk & Spock only just miss seeing McCoy at the soup kitchen by microseconds.

I keep finding new details to admire in Panel 4. The dude in the front looks like he just walked off a pedestal--SO Roman-statue-esque. The graffiti!!! (including the pisswall - a subtle reference to PLEBS, perhaps?) The drawing that seems to go with the Thracian winner reminds me of the detective in the Pink Panther cartoons, although that may just be a crossed connection in my brain. I'm thinking highly improper thoughts about the other pictorial graffito ... ahem. So much going on with the various people on the street. A shoeshine guy? The woman balancing a jar on her head along with a baby on her back is beautiful. And the two women chatting (with wine, maybe?) add to the cosmopolitan flavor, since no one seems to care that one is a person of color and one isn't.

I think that's totally me and Klio drinking in the background. :D

I really love these panels. They are great.

I will totally go with those being our ancient avatars, on account of we could both use a nice day out drinking in the middle of the afternoon :)

I almost didn't include the, um, Grumio wall out of a misplaced sense of propriety.

It is of course labelled appropriately as a Vespasian taxation station.
