I know the comic-to-comic story line is still wobbling a bit. But (as I keep saying and saying hopefully) it's coalescing.

Agreed! He is very lucky to have watching out for him.

And I'm wondering how much of her helpfulness at present is because he said she could have her pet! He knows how to get on her good side, and *she* knows what he really needs and how to persuade him to accept it ... look at her playing with the nape of his neck.

It's a weird relationship, but it seems to work.

Her helpfulness is because Julia is presumably a hot fifteen-year-old (or so) and she knows Domitian very very well. And their two kids just died. So.
