By popular request: filling in a bit of story. Plus bonus T Rex. Because.

And only a day late.

They get each other

SO. MUCH. LOVE. ♥

I love how the only thing Felix says to the fisherman is, "Keep up."

Clearly he has more of a connection with Sweetums. Which makes sense, since they go way back.

Bonus dinosaur FTW!!!! *squints* Is that a hockey stick?

Here are some bears in the news.

Sweetums has a thing for "picnic" baskets, it seems.

That man was in some serious denial....

Sweetums is very irritated none of those pic-a-nic baskets has any hotdogs or potato salad.

I suspect that Chinese gentleman to have used the first excuse to go through his mind when the police showed up to investigate his animal trafficking operation : "I, huh, I... I thought they were dogs! Honest, officer, swear to god!".

Notice also the use of the classic "I bought them from a passing stranger" heared in every police station in the world for as long as there's been any kind of law enforcement. Those passing strangers always have so many interesting/shady things to sell...

Adorable! Especially the 5 o'clock shadow. Also, love pflop! as an octopus landing sound effect. (Was there sushi bouncing research involved?)

Must have come from memories of growing up in a seafood-loving family and spending a lot of time at shore-side fish stands and fishmonger markets with sawdust-covered floors. Very traumatic for someone who can't stand the smell or taste of fish :)

I think Felix needs to keep the bear.

It'll be great.

He might lose the security deposit in his next apartment if he moves Sweetums in.

I have a feeling Damon would love having a trained bear to show off to the other kids on the street, and/or to scare the other kids on the street.

also a trained bear show provides a great distraction for your marks while you're reliveing them of their valuables. (is the first thought that would probably cross his mind, old habits dying hard, and all that...)

This method of bear-catching is not recommended for bears other than Sweetums.
