I think I'll tweak the panel edge a little so it's clear that he's slamming against a wall. I have no sympathy for his ankle :P

The first two panels are so beautiful! I love how the horse is springing out of the confines of the first one, while the people (who are arranged in such a natural yet geometrical shape) are spilling out of the second.

Then I like the return to practicality and the plain background in the third and fourth.
