Oh yes, I am owned by six rescues. Also, there was a classic Sylvia cartoon that posited that all cat language consists of only two phrases: "Everything in here is mine" and "Where's the food?" (I would add a few others like "Pet me now" and "Go to bed" and "Where the hell do you think you're going?" and "Where the hell have you been?", but that does cover a lot.)

I'm betting that "Where the hell do you think you're going?" and "Where the hell have you been?" are the same in cat language, but with different inflections, or one involves glaring and the other involves sitting grumpily with one's back to the human.

I'm also betting that Bear language consists mainly of "Everything in this forest is mine" and "You're the food."

You're the artist , but I think this develops the tension well. I even kind of like how the Rumbles push the last panel and shortens its width.
