It took a while for the imperial wrath (http://spqrblues.com/IV/?p=1603) to be fulfilled, but Domitian wasn't going to let a little thing like the comic not getting drawn for a year stand in his way...
Heh, heh. Domitian vs. Calatoria Themis. It reminds me of that old joke about the guy who lived way out in the boonies, heard a commotion in the backyard, and found his mother-in-law wrestling a bear: couldn't decide which one to root for.
I love the flow, if a little confusing (but wait, it's a tense moment) in the first one and I love the strategic placement of the "Oh" bubble over the sculpture.
...And don't point your finger at me like that! EEEEE!! X-D
Although I will ignore the bracers seen on the goon's arms. (there is no real solid evidence AFAIC for Romans, especially Soldiers other than Archers. It's a Hollywoodism [we reenactors] fight all the time, BUT I Digress, your comic is AWESOME.)
I admit to using arm bracers in general as a shorthand for "this is character A, not character B." I'd be happy to remove them, in fact, to help in the reenactment fight. It wouldn't be hard to revise his appearances, just might take a while :)
NO!! Don't change it, it's your vision and I'd hate to have you go and re-do or change the wonderful work you've put into it.
Well...I guess you could modify it so he's wearing an Armilae or a Torque (or two), which were the awards and "metals" given to soldiers for valor and bravado et al.
just remember the work you're doing is -wonderful- :D
