I'm confused. I thought Mus was badly hurt when the scaffolding fell on him, and in no shape to get home by himself. Did the Blues who were heading up the mountain take time to return him to Iusta? IS that Mus heading upstairs? Or is it Felix? (Doesn't seem to need a shave badly enough for Felix, though.)
For Felix the most important things are Spendusa's manumission papers. I'm impressed that Iusta believed Felix and went to get the money, which is always important during a catastrophe. I wonder if she knows how close it was for her to be married to him.
In Felix defense, he never believed that he would marry Elisa so there was nothing wrong with cavorting with the help. He also knew that he would be an idiot to say "No" to a very advantageous marriage. Spendusa also knew that Felix was never going to marry her.
True...but this is no time to worry about that! Let's get them all rescued first, then he can start disentangling his life.
And BTW it's horrific and yet very satisfying to watch the characters get ready to evacuate from a town that still looks like it always did, while we know that in a few more hours it's all going to be gone. Good job!!
