I have it on semi-good authority that the Etruscan words for warning that the fires of the gods are coming sound exactly like the Latin for "turn this mule around."
(And I love how things in one language sound just like different things in other languages... My ex says that every given name means something nasty or naughty in some other language. His name is one of the examples on this.)
(And oh, I had a dream of a volcano erupting. It was kind of a nice dream, not a nightmare like you'd expect. And it had cartoon Romans in it... wonder where that came from?)
For a moment there I thought she was dreaming and that this was a prelude to girl-on-girl action. "Turning the mule"--is that what the kids are calling it these days?
But it's also beautiful, I mean, both girls look really lovely. I love the folds of their gowns and the flowing hair (sometimes flowing right out of the frame!) and the hands and feet.
