I haven't drawn this (or much of anything) in a long time, so I haven't quite gotten back into the swing of drawing everyone's faces. Or writing letters.

Date: 2011-11-24 09:14 pm (UTC)(Which is odd, because today in my NaNoWriMo writing, my ancient Roman vampires are getting ready to go back and visit the ruins of Pompeii.)

Date: 2011-11-25 11:42 pm (UTC)(In my version of things, the vampires had some fore-warning and managed to leave the area before it all went boom. And thank you! I'm actually over 100k now, but still not done with this year's part of the story. Gah. Blasted vampires are all "No, we're going to muse about how the coastline has changed and wonder where exactly their old house used to be, kthanks.")

Date: 2011-11-24 09:26 pm (UTC)Also, why do I suspect that Mus would have said exactly the same thing as this kid when he *was* a kid? Don't start yelling at them to get off your lawn, Mus!
Happy Thanksgiving - I hope you have a wonderful one!

Whoa, I've been in Harry Potter fandom too long; I at first spelled 'inquiring' with an 'e!'

Date: 2011-11-25 02:52 pm (UTC)I felt like drawing something more elaborate than closed-in shoes. I'm sure these are made of soft fabric with pretty embroidery and a few pearls sewn on, for special party occasions.

Date: 2011-12-07 03:33 am (UTC)I like the baskets in the last panel. The scaffolding pole almost looks like it's dividing the panel into two so that the upright basket and the fallen-over basket might be the same basket falling-down-going-boom, which might be sneaky foreshadowing.
