Given events, I'm having a hard time getting back into drawing this story. And yet, sadly, this isn't the first time world events have overtaken ancient events.

Once, a while back, I decided to contribute a certain amount to disaster relief for each panel of comic I could get drawn in a set amount of time. Let's see what I can get done between today and the end of the month. I'll count the batch of sketchbook drawings I've been doing this week, too. The first few have been posted as sketches of the day.

Oh, and: tomorrow is the you-know-what of March.

Caught up with all your sketches. They are lovely. If it helps keep you in practice, I say it's a fine way to spend your time.

Love and kissies.

I think Iusta's eyes are migrating farther apart on each page. But that's why I have white ink to cover things up and try again :D

I say you should grab a bunch of pretty pens you've never tried before, a notepad, and just doodle until your muse loosens up and gets back into the swing of things. Just keep turning the page and drawing something new....

At least, that's my current drawing theory :D

I recognize Iusta's pose with the tablet and pen. Does this mean she is practicing to be a serious businesswoman/wife? :-)

Iusta takes the fish-pickle sauce business very seriously! She intends to own half of Herculaneum.

Well, that was the original plan. I hear there may not be a lot of available property to buy there, soon.
