SPQR Blues: barely conscious

I am so falling-down-tired I can't do anything fancier with this post or with fixing up the art except to just about manage the lj-cut tag, like so...






We last saw these guys here and here. I may have sorta kinda forgotten what that one guy looks like. I should fix that one guy.

I mis-measured the page, so will need to go back in and fix a few things, including that one guy and that text that is mysteriously not handwritten.

OH NO NOT MUS!!

I stumbled across SPQR Blues about a month ago and have been gobbling up the comic and your Livejournal ever since. So good. The art, the story, the art, the characters, the art... But I don't know whether to be happy that you must be doing fairly well (since you got another post up) or terrified about what has to happen to at least some of your people. (Please, please, not Spendi and the baby...)

Anyhow, I want to thank you for sharing your vision with all of us. You're much better than you seem to realize. Oh, why qualify it. You're outstanding.

And also aren't those guys the ones who were ordered to go up the mountain and check for bandits? The suspense, it kills. But not as efficiently as, as things I don't want to talk about.

Thank you for reading and for the very nice comment! I will have to promise to be a loyal artist and not leave SPQR Blues waiting anymore. Blowing up this volcano should be like pulling a tooth--painful, but quick :]

Here's the Blues guy who took a group up the mountain (http://spqrblues.com/IV/?p=1375). He finally got a name, Daphnus. These fellows are the folks going to Naples (http://spqrblues.com/IV/?p=783) with Mrs. Nonius Balbus' wardrobe and makeup case and banquet slippers.

And Mus... well, he was last seen going on an errand instead of sending a servant because he was mad at his father and needed to cool off and sober up.
