when the master calls, answerI usually like to reply to every comment (usually with some sleep-deprived attempt at wit), but if I missed replying to yours on the previous entry, that's just because I'm busy scribbling the next comic :)

Down in the kitchen, a bun in the oven

Can't... stop... staring... at... kitty icon...

::mesmerised::

My cat is fairly terrified of bubbles, for some reason, poor thing. Maybe one aggressively went after her nose once.

A couple of people on [livejournal.com profile] note_to_cat and [livejournal.com profile] caturday made them. I think they are adorable.

The first one has markings similar to my crippled cat (who lived to be 14) and I love it because of that.

This icon is my current cat, Koron, who is named for the Dark Lord in one of our stories.

Um . . .

Oh, dear. Well, at least Mus knows one thing: when to keep his mouth shut and just do what a lady asks.

His sisters tried to raise him properly before they had to turn him over to someone else...

Oh dear. I was really hoping that wouldn't be why she wasn't answering.

Why, back in the day, women had to give birth while irrigating the fields, tie the umbilical cord, then put the baby to work too. This spoiled lass has a comfortable kitchen floor behind some old jars, all to herself, and will only have to haul some washing water and cook breakfast in between contractions.

OK, I was expecting something like this...

"something is wrong"... Another problem birth ? First it's Jochanan who had to be turned around, and now what's going on with Felix Junior ?

Or is it just that it's Spendusa's first baby, and she's scared as hell ?

I think it's just that. Plus she has no idea where the baby's father is, or will be. Besides she's still slave, isn't she, so the baby will belong to her owner and not to her.

I think that's more than enough reasons to be slightly irrational.

Chances are high that "something's wrong" = "I am in labour on the kitchen floor and where is @%#& is the @&$#%! father?"

Possibly also "something's wrong" = "Wrong? Gee, you think?"

Poor Spendi. Not even getting to use sarcasm when she's in labor.

*fingers firmly crossed for good outcome* and *hoping that Mus' little sister isn't going to pop out of one of those jars*

Wasn't Felix's son in one of those jars once?

He did stick his arms down one and find something to steal...

Pretty much anything that isn't bolted down comes under the "something to steal" category for him.

O.O

Good for Mus. I'll be bouncing on my chair waiting for more.

And yes, I do owe you some literature. It will likely appear under a locked entry in my journal. Heh.

I was in bed by 9:00 last night. Yesterday totally kicked my ass. Today looks better. Now if there was only a way I could put the car on autopilot and write on my drive, then I'd have a good six hours a week to devote to just that.

::sigh::

yay for scribbling more comics! :)

Although, sleep is good too... I don't know about anyone else here, but I can be patient (well, mostly. Gah! It would be easier if you weren't so good!)
