I have no other commentary, actually. I'm getting a little weary of those particular fen, but I guess I ought to be understanding of how over-exuberant fandom can be....

Feh. :P I'm keeping the TV off as much as I can. The only time it comes on is in the morning so I can see how bad traffic's going to be.

My fifth-grade teacher told me I'd regret not watching Reagan's inauguration. I'm sure she'd tell me I'd regret not watching every single minute of his funeral. I'm equally sure that she'd be just as wrong now as she was then.

Was that today?

As we were watching the Reagan inauguration in class, someone on the street threw a rock through the window. Children were ushered to safety, and there was much excitement. Much more exciting than watching the actual inauguration, I'm certain. I have no idea why someone threw a rock through the window -- this was not the sort of thing that normally happened at my dull little school. Maybe the sound of Reagan's voice drove a passerby insane.

I didn't even realise the funeral was today. I found him creepy enough when he was still alive; I definitely don't want to dwell on thinking about him now.
Ooo, lookee, more comments from Kris on other posts. When I'm conscious again, I'll go reply to them :-)

No, the actual service is on Friday. Maybe I should call this the extended wake, except it's actually a viewing and calling it a wake would insinuate there's some liquor in the back, a nice cake and some casseroles, and nice reminiscing about the deceased.

You won't find any nice reminiscing about the Reagan years here, except that I do wish the Police had stayed together to record one more album.
