The next installment will be posted tomorrow evening (Tuesday). I have to prepare for a work presentation tomorrow morning. Pesky work.
Meanwhile, this looks interesting: Drawing Day 2008. It looks like I'm artist #5700 to click the "yeah okay what the heck" button. The one labelled "yes," that is.
OT -- One of our local Grand Rapids MI movie theatres is participating in what appears to be a special two-day (Tuesday and Wednesday) showing of the live-action movie version of "Death Note" -- NPR said about 300 theatres nationwide were participating -- I'm going tonight. 150 minutes, rated R -- they might actually be able to include some of the story there.
Is that playing anywhere near you? I recall you mentioning the manga a while back.
Actually, I was planning to go see it Wednesday evening, then follow it up with a midnight showing of Indiana Jones at the same theatre, and was planning to relaunch the Outside Food movie reviews with that little double feature. But between too much work, too many out-of-town meetings, and too much family visiting, I think I'll have to miss it. I am currently trying to coerce people to see Indy with me over the weekend :P
I'll try to put up a review in the morning and let you know if Death Note is any good, in case you needed to change your mind. (Came out change your ming -- did your ming need changing? I hadn't noticed.)
Is it time for Indy already?? I'll have to add that to the list. Maybe I should buy tickets in advance. In fact, I SHOULD buy tickets in advance, if I want to see it at the Drafthouse. Does it count as seeing it "with you" if we see it on the same day, but 1,800 miles away?
