And I still have my original ones from when I was 12 years old. The d20 is nicely smoothed into a round, useless ball. Maybe I'll use the d4, which is still in pristine condition.
I'd never, never go back in time for long enough to need any medical attention, up to and including childbirth, not farther than, say, 1950's. Never. Visit - yes. Stay - never. O.O
Ugh. All blessings to her, if she has survived -what, three at least?- she just might do it this time too.
As someone else said, she's already had three. I hear they go faster and easier the more you have. My high school band director helped his wife deliver their fourth child in the back seat of their car, in an Albertsons's parking lot, because they couldn't get to the hospital fast enough.
Except that, statistically, every birth after your third is an increased risk of complications for the mother, or that's what a book told me. Don't get me started on those complications. I had to do a little research for a story and the results made me vow that I'll have at most two biological children and will adopt the rest.
(Yes, I'd like to have a dozen of kids. So?)
Seems like the dear old BitchMother Nature decided to play it safe for us and our world domination dreams.
Personally, I am laughing at the little dichotomy there. One moment, she's all like, "It's okay (to make bouncy when you aren't married yet). Life is short!" Then, the next minute she's like, "Stay and watch me go through labor. You'll keep your knees together for the next ten years after you see this!"
Second panel, second row -- you can really see Mus in his sister's profile. (grin) You also feature three body shapes, and three very different hairstyles. We love the story, but we come back for all the detailing! (grin)
Damned arteests -- so hard to attract their attention and give them a damned compliment. (grin) Look! Over here! This is great! No, over HERE! (double-grin)

What this problem really needs is... a poll! Which I might or might not pay attention to!
