Even though I drew the pencils for this row and the rest of the rows in this little mini-story-arc all in one evening, I feel like I'm way off my game right now. A little muffle-headed and confused. Could I have gone from the flu straight into... allergies? At least allergies would mean that spring is here :)
You poor thing--that sounds completely miserable. I hope April is completely illness-and-nausea-free.
My spring allergy thing is new. I never had much trouble in the past, then a few years ago, suddenly my head was spinning in circles. The doctor gave me a prescription non-drowsy allergy medication that put me out like a light :P Maybe I'll try the OTC this time :)
A lot of the non-drowsy pills put me out, too. Oddly enough, the ones that dissolve instantly (instead of being swallowed) don't have the same effect. Weirdness.
If you can get a decent quality air filter, sleeping with it near your head at night will help. Also, I've heard that eating locally produced honey can help also, because you're consuming the pollen and that helps you build an immunity to inhaling the pollen.
I'm allergic to dust, mold, mildew, and fur bearing mammals and sadly honey is made of these things. I say sadly, but really, it's a good thing. ;)
I do have a friend who has had very good luck with using the locally made honey cure, however. Fortunately, I have a source for locally made honey (since my brother-in-law runs a research farm at a nearby college), so she gets it for free!
