Some of us celebrate the Spring renewal next month, according to the remnants of the Babylonian Calendar.

Thanks for the renewal of our heroes and heroines.

Indeed!

I'll try to remember to wish a Happy one to those who do when the other date comes around!

I can see "Law & Order" in that. But Felix is still teh hot!

Again, I love the background. Felix as a thug with a club is mildly disturbing.

Thanks for the comic! Can't wait to see more!

Holy Haircut

Arrgh! I see what Mus meant. The barber just about scalped Felix. I didn't recognize him at first... But Menander is right, it'll grow back... just before disaster strikes.
Welcome back, Felix and Klio, and Happy Easter. I hope you get lots of candy eggs in your basket. DRW

I'm sure he'll be a very responsible club owner.

More backgrounds tonight :)

Whoa! what a difference!

I love "the look" in panel 2, well done!

...I'd be proud to call him my commilito...Hey I can live vicariously through him to score some hot chicks, right? :D

Since I draw the comic in order to vicariously live as a dictator with complete power over the actions of all the citizens of my world (except when they run off with minds of their own)... sure!

I bet hawt chicks are all over the Blues when they walk their patrol down main street....

...and now I'll have to go back and find what I said about his rate of hair growth to make sure his locks stay perfectly in synch with the calendar ;)

Maybe Venus likes longer hair, too. ;p)

I went to a museum exhibit on Pompeii in Houston earlier this week. They had a lot of stuff from Herculaneum. Everything I saw made me think of SPQR Blues!!!! Especially the snake bracelets, of which they had several. The ones that came in pairs. The ones that were favored by the followers of Isis. The ones that were given by a master to his slave girl.

I do like Felix with longer hair, but I have to admit he is HOT with the shorter hair. He looks more Roman, too.

Good thing Spendi could get that backup bracelet ;)

Another cool thing I missed by not being able to go to Houston! I am sooo jealous!

Clearly Felix just cut his hair not to look more well groomed, but so he could get more chicks. Now we know.

I got to see the *other* Pompeii exhibit when it was at the Mobile Exploreum in Alabama (and got to participate in the 'Castra Romana' Roman Legion reenactor meet for the exhibit which was pissah!)

Although this 'other' exhibit was more Pompeii oriented than Herculaneum, but we had a blast...pardon the pun...pouring over the exhibit!

..someday will make it out there... le sigh

His gorgeous hair is gone! Is it just me, or does that make his chin look even more manly? :)

One of my coworkers went to Houston for that Herculaneum exhibit, and when she came back and told us about it all I could think of was Felix et al.

Waaaaaaaah!!!

(That's me sobbing because I was supposed to go to Houston last week but was too sickly :P )

::sniffle::

I'm sure I'll get over it... somehow... I'll have to console myself by drawing manly chins :)

"...and now I'll have to go back and find what I said about his rate of hair growth to make sure his locks stay perfectly in synch with the calendar"

I admire that degree of obsession in my purveyors of entertainment by way of sequential art.

Also, let his hair grow back. He looked so much cooler before.
