I like this comic a lot

Great drawings of all the players in one place.

Hee.

Hail-hail

Hail-hail, the gang's all there. Including old vinegar fizz unfortunately. I revel in the assumption that she'll be one of the first to go... maybe she's the one who ends up trapped in her basement and eaten by the dog... okay, okay, she doesn't have a dog, but she might be trapped in somebody else's basement... maybe Spewed-on's. We hope anyway. It warms my heart to see our young heiress making an attempt to distribute her mother's property where it will be appreciated. Keep 'em coming, Klio! DRW.

Sorry -- must be flashbacks from last night's outrageously lewd Whose Line Is It Anyway on ABC Family where Colin Mockery was in a piece where he wasn't sure what gender anyone was, so he was checking, but... For a moment I didn't get which way our young heiress was facing. I'm sure that's her back we see. If she was looking over her shoulder, then someone's copping a feel.

Okay, seriously now -- another remarkable panel with the word balloons flowing around and getting into trouble with each other.

"I think it's going to show." "Good."

Go Felix! I think Felix must live at the end of this story, because I'm pretty damn sure that Mal in Firefly is one of his descendents... (grin)

I like that idea :D

The Mal idea, not the copping a feel...

I assumed that. (grin)

"Felix, you agree I can give the Tavern to Miriamne?"
"You'll keep your hands out of our buisness!"

AAUGH! Make up yer mind, woman!

Is that Spendi with mus and felix? She does *not* look happy about the situation. :P

I love how you have the 2 servent girls "bookending" the scene!

I kinda figured the dialogue arrangement was going to cause trouble :P That's Iusta saying the first line ("Felix, you agree I can give the Tavern to Miriamne?") and Calatoria saying the second. It's supposed to be Spendusa on the left of the big panel and Cynthia on the right, with Caius helping Felix into his tunic. Hmm--I need more drawing practice... hopefully I've learned something from this installment... maybe I'd better go practice by drawing another comic or something.... :)

Evil look

Yeah, I figured that was Cynthia giving Felix the angry eye and
Spendusa looking pensive. Was somebody getting a free grop and I missed it? Gotta take a second look! DRW.

Whoopsie, I didn't notice the string until you pointed it out.

Must be a little distracted with all of the cute chicks in the room there... :P

hmmm, I don't think this is a "drawing practice" issue; you had a scene with complicated cross-dialogue between a roomful(!) of well coiffed characters in your head and it actually works (with some bubble trailing). The issue might be in translating what's in your head (multi-dimensional & multi-sensory) to pencil & paper. You can hear the different voices in your head, which eliminates the confusion, but we can't. So hmmm, I dunno. Bold face lettering for the "loud" one in the group, a verbal tick unique to one character. Smaller lettering to indicate a background contribution to the dialogue works sometimes. You know the tricks. I was trying to think of a way to indicate the sword&toga dialogue as "sub rosa" which would give a completely different feel to the plot---just some thoughts. A famous writer once said that on every page something should have just happened, is happening, or is about to happen and you did all three in one picture; that is excellent plotting :)

You are the master of drawing hair. So good! I also really love the looong middle panel.

Hi! Hi! I must force you to go out to lunch with me sometime next week so we can gossip and conspire. I'll draw your hair if you do :D

If I need to break someone's kneecaps, just let me know. I have a big sword and am not afraid to use it. Then I run away, but I'm not afraid to use it. Just sayin'.

Bah, we'll have to include a big dessert with lunch. A sugar high is always helpful.

Rumor has it our hostess is on the road home at last. Be patient everybody, it takes a couple of days even if you're a Drivin' Fool like Klio. DRW.

Thank you for your patience...

On the road and running late. I'd meant to leave from this point over an hour ago.

Time to hit the road.

Whoops. The "Hope Fades" icon was not actually the one I'd meant to use.

But I could channel some Sauron-level vengeance if necessary.
