spqrblues: (SPQR Blues 3 Felix)

Several days late, finally the second row of part LXVI.

I will try to finish inking the remaining row tonight, too. (But I'm pretty sure I won't succeed; it's getting late, and I'm exhausted.)

If you have a chance, have a look at the new archive site, spqrblues.com; I've made a few adjustments, so if it's gone kablooie in your browser (or just plain looks icky in that arrangement), please let me know!

The new site looks very good on MSN.

Thank you for creating such an interesting window into Roman life way back when.

Thank you for taking a look at the archive site :)

Eventually I might think of some radically different, slick page design, but as long as this one displays properly, I'm content for a while with it....

Hmm, I just realized cousin Spewed-on looks a little like Hugh Hefner in later years... sort of a Portrait of Dorian Grey taken to its logical conclusion. Good work, I partiuclarly like the buxom serving girls in low-cut gowns. It's no wonder Speudon has cash-flow problems. DRW.

Buxom babes and cabana catamites cost a lot to maintain, you know. Not to mention the expense of replacing them every few years with more bouyant versions.

I'm a fan of really big LAST COMIC and NEXT COMIC buttons that are easy to find and click on. Otherwise, looks good.

Will I see you at KGB tonight? I still have that book for you.

Oh, and ALT tags on the background images are probably a mistake, since people will be mousing over the comic for ALT tag jokes and may get confused when they think the joke is "bottom of wax tablet". Just set them to ALT="" and maybe leave a comment saying which is which.

Ooo, a book! Yays! I'm marooned in the house right now while phone company repairmen crawl around (I think it's something weather-related, or maybe they are here to case the joint and steal my precious supply of BPAL perfume, I'm not sure which). But I plan to get to KGB no matter what :)

I'll think about how I can improve the LAST and NEXT buttons. Thanks for the feedback!

The book is now on top of my purse, so I will almost certainly remember it. *) I may not be at the reading, but I'll be at dinner. See you there!

Not that many people look at my LJ, but I did a shout out for your new web page for SPQR Blues.

And as a bonus, you already had the second line for this comic up there (and not here), so for a while faithful Felix fans, you have an extra special reason to check out [livejournal.com profile] meritahut's new archive.

Cool! Thank you! :)

For some reason I couldn't post to lj this afternoon. Grr. All is working now, though, so there's a comic for Wednesday :D

el-jay was being evil and wouldn't let me view any pages at all earlier.
