Thanks. There's much I want to say on the topic (even while there's an awful lot of other story to fit in). It's going to take a few more installments and a few other sub-plots to paint a more complete picture, but all this is part of thickening plots....
What kind of solid waste requires Moral Turpentine for a solvent? Something particularly hard and knotty I suppose. Yay Felix, yay Menander, Yay Klio for bringing us more stories with pictures. DRW.
You know what else is nice? Coming home after a bleh day of feeling bleh, and finding a whole stack of comments from amedia on her triumphant return! Whee!
In Chapter 1 of Meditations M Aurelius lists the admirable human traits he has learned from others. From his predecessor, Emperor Antoninus Pius he notes: "I observed that he had overcome any passion for boys." Heh, who would've thought reading a webcomic with Roman boys discussing moral turpitude would make me remember that Stoic gem.

The nice thing about having been away for a while is that I can go read the next one RIGHT NOW instead of having to wait! Yay!

PS- Oh, and what magistrate would support that marriage? Uh, one bought off or drinking/whoring buddies with the personage in question? (grin)
