I went out for lunch and ended up at the movies. Don't ask.

It's not that Starsky & Hutch is a bad movie. It's such a perfect mimicry, in dialogue and plot and filming and incidental music, and in some cases acting style, and it has so little commentary within it that would not have been found in the original series, the movie is very nearly superfluous. You would have as much fun, and would get as many laughs at the expense of the 'Seventies, simply watching the original show.

But if I know my friends, and I think I do, I know what you really want to know about Owen & Ben's Hutch & Starsky....

Full review to come, after I take ten or twelve sinus/allergy pills and recover.

What I want to know is, if you claw your own eyes out at a movie (Like, I don't know, Starsky and Hutch), are your beloved readers accessories to assault?

Every now and then I think, "I ought to get hazard pay for this," or at least coverage for my eye doctor. But then I think of how I can save my beloved readers time, yea, even their souls, and I feel like a hero again....

Actually, to claw my eyes out at this movie would have required it actually evoke an emotion other than glazed-over ennui....

Your martyrdom, as always, brings tears to my eyes. Thank you for graciously releasing me from culpability.
