SPQR Blues Chapter 2: The End

Warning for itty bitty sideways frontal nudity. The character in question tells me to clarify that the sideways frontal nudity is not itty bitty, just the drawing. Ahem.

Also: The return of the archaeologically suspect seashore gate. That's how it looked in chapter I when I loosely based it on a very loose drawing of me loosely thinking I was maybe going to do a comic, so here it is again! How do we know that's not how one of the approaches to the shore looked? Eh? We don't know! We don't know! (Uhm... it's 4 in the morning on New Year's Day. I'm not entirely sure what I'm typing.)

And that's all she wrote for Chapter II. Except for the extra scene with the goat, which I sketched out on the backs of gas station receipts while driving back from Louisiana. While driving. I don't know why they let me behind the wheel.

I loved this chapter. I love this last panel too. But I said so in that "other place."

All day, probably. I might be unconscious. But the phone usually wakes me up.

I am now of course looking at this last comic of the chapter and thinking, "Ugh, I should totally rethink that..." Does it have oomph? Is what the goddess says just utterly inane? What if I disappoint reviewers who thought I was going in a different direction? What if nobody likes me anymore? What it I move Mus' speech balloon a little to one side?

What a way to start the new year! Woohoo!

All nudity aside, this is very nicely done with the way everything comes full circle. I shall try to keep my lascivious comments to a minimum. And besides, every time the Venus Goddess Lady shows up I'm happy. I still want a picture you know. ;-P
