SPQR Update

LXXIX "row 2" turned into comic #80. The closer I get to the end, the more comics there seem to be between me and the finish line. Weird. I think Felix is trying to fight off the inevitable.

You can see the sketch with all (probably final) dialogue in place, if you like. I am frantically working and preparing for going off on an extended visit, so don't know when I'll be able to do the inking.

But boo that we may not get any goodies for a bit. Hrumph. That makes me a little sad. Will you be taking your scanner, pray tell? Or will you just be doing the driving and being social with the people you will be staying with? Can I lure you up to Michigan with the promise of a nice bed and good pizza when your done with the trek south? Mm? Mm?

I wanted to have them all drawn and done so I could scan them in advance and let the ComicGenesis server update on its own. Then the revised plan was to stay a whole day at a hotel along the way, drawing the end of the chapter, so that I could scan them when I got to the other end. Now the plan is: panic, throw dirty clothes in car, drive frantically through the night, draw the rest who-knows-when.

Michigan is a little out of the way, alas :)
