Date: 2006-11-21 06:36 pm (UTC)Funny how Caesar wannabes just assume everyone else is, too.
(grin)
Wonder if Ambition Boy is beginning to think it wasn't a good idea to waste Honour Boy's "family" at sea -- or maybe it was fortunate. By the gods, this conspiracy and dealing gets complicated.

But there were tipsy editors.)

Date: 2006-11-22 01:33 pm (UTC)Let's see: The food was tacky, but the likker was free; it was so nosiy I couldn't hear most of what anyone was saying; I ran into Martha and other HC people right about when I had had enough of lurking around looking at the children's book illustrations and was ready to flee; I met a couple of other lost-looking people to wander around with; I failed to impress anyone with my lack of sparkliness; and you would have no doubt wowed all those SF people with the power and importance of Children's Books. There were a few YA authors there I had a chance to talk with--Holly Black (who must think I'm a maniac now); Sara Beth Durst (who was incredibly nice and has a book upcoming from Razorbill); a few illustrators I got to talk art with; and... well... a lot of tipsy editors :)
Now, then. Why are you reading lj?? You have a novel to finish, so you can be super famous!
