I totally spaced posting this on lj yesterday. I'm trying to ink the next several days' worth of entries today but it's a busy week and weekend on the mandatory-obligations calendar. The next two months are hip deep in work obligations.

When I get a final report on the Karen Ellis benefit auction, I'll let everyone know how it went.







In other news, I've come into possession of a lovely 300-year-old book of calligraphic fonts and ornamental letters and swashes. I'm debating converting some of them to electronic fonts or at least getting good scans of the decorative swashes so they can be used. It doesn't look like more than one font from this particular book is out there anywhere. Doing so without damaging the book will take a lot of time, so I'll see how that goes, but if anyone has a use for ornamental caps and doodads, keep an eye on this general area for more info down the road.
