Yes, the comic is very very late.

I really can't hold my liquor, and two huge fancy drinks full of demon-gin are way too much for me. Obviously, you see, I was out last night celebrating all my friends' birthdays long distance....

Well, actually, I had my annual work review (over cocktails! which totally made me forget to ask some important questions about things like, oh, salary!) then spent several nifty hours looking at a friend's photos of Roman ruins and Israel from her recent trip. Much inspiration.
