spqrblues: (SPQR Blues 3 Bear)
11:22pm update update: Whew, pencils are finally finished. I am trying to stay up so the promised update will come to fruition... but I must be pretty punchy, if I'm using the phrase "come to fruition"....

5:13pm update: As I said in reply to [livejournal.com profile] cyanocorax in the previous entry, there will be an update tonight. I am, of course, pretending I reside in an extremely westerly time zone.

Meanwhile, DRW has informed us of this exciting archaeological discovery: Italian archaeologists say they have found the long-lost underground grotto where ancient Romans believed a female wolf suckled the city's twin founders. I am somewhat amused by how the article blurs mythology and history. I mean to say: yes, indeed, a real female wolf absolutely raised Romulus and Remus. Absolutely.

I will now spend the entire evening jealous and wishing I could be an archaeologist.
