Global Warming

fweepMy drawing schedule always gets knocked out of whack by conventions or other weekend activities, and my brain always seems to require far too long to recover. I did do a little bit of irate sketching about the checkout-desk chick at the Marriott while sitting on the floor of a hotel meeting room, though.

Don't mess with my math

Penguins!!!

***gasping with delight*** I hereby forswear all my allegiances to your bear. These penguins are my new absolute favorite thing. Draw them more, pretty please. In Roman armor, if need be to fit into the story line. (I know, accomodating, aren't I?)

Math?

Bistromath 2.1 Douglas Adams would be proud. But be careful, you could end up on the far side of the galaxy... then again perhaps you already are.... DRW.

btw - I called the Marriott and complained about that woman.

For those just joining this story, there was a lot more to it than that final bit up there. The woman spent over 15 minutes insisting that she decide how we divide the bill. Not because items could not be moved from one bill to another--she said they could be, she pointed out how they could be, but she wouldn't do it because for some utterly baffling reason, she wanted to decide what would be fair. She really really wanted me to pay $215 at first, then changed her mind. Then she got vindictive and rude instead of just silly; but enough about that. Weirdness.

A micromanager is born: This clerk will undoubtedly move right up the corporate ladder to head bookkeeper. Perhaps we should install Microsoft Huns on her laptop instead. DRW.

It was so nice to meet you and to see more of your gorgeous, touching, many-many-other adjectives work. I hope next time we'll get a chance to chat more. Are you going to be at SPX? If so, I hope you'll have prints available. I have a wall picked out above where the cat naps in the early morning :)
