So sad!

By the way, send good thoughts my way. I'm trying not to get food on my brand-spanking-new interview clothes, or blisters on my feet from the ugly business shoes I'm wearing, as I spend the next 2 days trying to convince a bio dept I'm worth hiring.

You're worth hiring! If they have any sense, they'll recognise that, whether or not you're wearing shoes. Though, I do recommend wearing shoes.

The Rome story'll get sadder. Then it'll get... uhm... bloodier. But then it'll get fun! In a sort of twisted way.

Yeah, I'll just get back to drawing.

Well, I got along great with everyone. I'll know in a few weeks. Surprisingly, the person who was most excited by my talk was a mathematician.

By way you did a fantastic job on the hands in this strip.

Weeks! Eek! I'll keep attempting to send positive vibes into the universe (I'm better at gothy, dire vibes, but I'll do my best).

Thank you, about the hands. Learn a little more every day. Soon, maybe it will all come together... hands... noses... feet... knees....

Yea, I'm glad you're drawing again. Now that I have my very own copies of SPQR Blues I'm looking forward to reading Chapter 2. Nice blue staples by the way.

Chapter 2 will be the chapter where I eventually learn to draw Felix's nose consistently from a variety of angles.

I haven't decided on the next staple colour yet... Maybe a nice chartreuse.
