I could have used this to make a little buffer of comics done in advance, but instead I'll use it to bring the dates on the LJ comics and the dates on the archive into synch.
If the comic were always in color, we would know they were different people because you would have them dressed in different clothes. Girl With Two Braids could always wear yellow, and Spendusa could always wear . . . I dunno, green?
I think they should all wear superhero outfits, but I'm told this would not be historically accurate.
Maybe they could wear (ancient) dresses with very different cuts. They probably only have one or two dresses each, anyway... Spendusa spends all her money on baubles for her necklace in stead of clothing, apparently.
I too was thinking of contrasting dress colors. I hadn't noticed the braids or the beads before. Maybe you can insert an episode where Felix confuses them and they get huffy and explain. Cuz now I know how to tell it won't be that hard.
Ah yes, the plot sickens. I note in frame 4 that somebody is listening to their conversation. Could this be the maid with no name? (Imagine Emil Morecone sound-track, with a whistler and furious trumpeting) I'll wager this secret will be broadcast to the ends of Empire by tomorrow morning. DRW
Looks like a male servent to me, judging from the bare leg. Wait, maybe it is Mus' new glam boy. I love "small world" coincidences, or perhaps I'm just hoping not to make a fool out of myself for not recognizing someone.
That glam bare leg is now Mus' personal property, so no one else gets to ogle it! Ahem. I mean, I'll just say: that's meant to be Speudon's doorservant, but I think I'll slightly change the art so it's both him and Girl with Two Braids listening in. That would make more sense, I believe.
Poor Iusta. But you wouldn't let her get married off to that stingy old roue, would you. No, seriously, would you?
Thanks so much for the update. I just finished watching the new BBC America Robin Hood and really needed something to get the bad taste out of my mouth. (Let's just say that Men in Tights did a better job with historical accuracy of the writing and believable acting). I will offer no other comment on the new series, except to say that the REAL Robin Hood (Robin of Sherwood) is due out on DVD March 13th.

Sounds like a hellava party!
Poor Felix. You are mean to him. But I love you for it!

The stepmonster is such a pinched, conniving, bitter prune. I like plump, snarky Vitalis much better.
But then, that's the way the Artist wants us to feel, right?

I'll think about what I can do to make them look sufficiently different from each other even at tiny sizes :)
One of these kids is not like the other . . .

Confession
Also, I used to be able to sing in a warbling Snow White falsetto. But I think it's gone now....
