Is this were a classical French bedroom farce, this is when she would exclaim "Ciel, mon mari !", and rush to hide a half-dressed Felix under the bed or in the closet.

I don't think they have closets. Maybe if he curls up under the bed and she throws a lot of blankets on top no one will notice him under there.
