He probably wouldn't have been eager for a day trip even if 1) she hadn't been so hoity toity and 2) he didn't have Mus coming for a visit. Her father might be disappointed she doesn't have the gravitas and steely glare yet to intimidate the help, but it must be hard to be taken seriously when you're fourteen, half the help's size, and (worst of all!) a girl.
Yeah, I decided to leave out the playful wrestling scene that happens between panels 3 and 4, just to save space. Maybe next time. Maybe in the movie version, to bring in the crowds ;)
Wouldn't Claudia Black be superb in an ancient movie? So far I've only gotten to see her be "ancient" in Xena-related stuff :)
The Etruscan girl is called Seianti, or Sejanti, depending on how I feel like transcribing at the moment. If I had a bunch of daughters, I might just name them all Sejanti and other good old-fashioned Etruscan names... like Tanaquil... Arnthi... Raunthu... those'd go over well on the playground.
Maybe later in the chapter Seianti will join the Blues Peacekeeper forces; Felix will of course have to start dressing entirely in leather and start going by the name John, discover a twin brother... uhm... discover that the volcano is actually a shortcut back to Alexandria... okay, so it.... doesn't stretch well

I love her expression in the 3rd panel, almost as if she's going to bop her on the head with the mirror in a flirty sort of way
Felix had to deal with people trying to kill him...14 year olds are No probelm :D
