Like that joke Latin teachers always tell... there's a line somewhere in the Aeneid where students always scan it wrong by reading AE-ne-as instead of AE-NE-as and the teacher always waits for that moment to say, "Do you think Dido would have slept with Aeneas if he'd had a short penult?"

Mine told me *about* it, but I didn't get to experience it for myself. Not that I scanned perfectly, but just that I never got that line in class.
